A multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer with around 3 to 5 years experience in infrastructure development (roads, sewer, stormwater, water) to join their office in Johannesburg.

Requirements :

  • BSc or BEng. in Civil Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in infrastructure development and township developments
  • Experience working for the consulting engineering sector

Project types include :

  • Governmental Services Upgrades (Roads, stormwater, sewer and water, etc)
  • Commercial Retail
  • Commercial offices
  • Residential (both commercial and government clients)

Duties and Responsibilities include :

Preliminary and detailed design of Civil Engineering Services

  • Roads

Client Liaison for both commercial or governmental clients and projects

  • Appointment, scope and professional fees negotiations
  • Design conceptualisation and development
  • Cost and progress reporting
