A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in the West Rand area. The ideal candidate will manage multiple design teams, ensure quality assurance, and sign off on engineering designs. Candidates must have a relevant BTech or BSc degree and be registered with ECSA.

• Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer required.
• Experience in engineering is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Quality Assurance policies are applied.

We require a Senior Civil Engineer in the West Rand area for a Consulting Firm.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade years + relevant experience in engineering
• BTech or BSc E
• Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
• Understanding of GCC, FIDIC, NEC, JBCC

Responsibilities & Duties

• Signing off designs and/or drawings as a responsible professional engineer
• Client liaison
• Manage and direct multiple design teams
• Developing Scope of Work for projects
• Collaborate with consultants / specialists in major technical support areas
• Establish design tools and software
• Schedule, coordinate, and participate in engineering design reviews
• Participate in staff development
• Ensure that Quality Assurance policies are applied
• Monitor teams and contractor's representatives during the construction phase
• Manage the preparation of technical reports, designs, cost estimates, procurement documentation
• Attend site visits / meetings
