Job description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with a proven track record in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

This role involves business development within both the private and public sectors. Our client base includes industrial, mining, municipal, and provincial utility sectors, where we provide asset management solutions and specialized engineering support services.

The position also covers traditional roads and stormwater projects within the municipal environment.

This role is crucial for developing growth strategies, tactics, and action plans to meet revenue targets, ensuring the company's competitiveness and innovation in the Southern African region and across Africa.

Responsibilities:

1. Detailed design of road projects
2. Contract documentation
3. Specifications
4. Bill of quantities
5. Tender adjudication processes and reports
6. Contract procurement
7. Managing contractual requirements
8. Supervisory administration
9. Experience working with national, provincial, and municipal authorities
10. Assisting with marketing activities such as conferences, breakfasts, and golf days
11. Business development and sales experience

Qualifications:

1. Registered Civil Engineer (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng Civil)
2. Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably with postgraduate specialization in Project and Construction Management
3. Professional registration with ECSA
4. Registration with SACPCMP
