Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Drafter to join their team, offering a hybrid work model combining remote flexibility with essential on-site collaboration in East London . You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for various civil engineering projects, working closely with Civil Engineers and project teams. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in CAD software. You will play a key role in translating engineering concepts into accurate visual representations that guide construction and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and schematics for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and site layouts.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create and modify technical drawings based on engineering designs and markups.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers to review and finalize drawings, incorporating feedback and revisions.
• Maintain organized project drawing files and revisions.
• Assist engineers with site visits as needed to gather information for drafting.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Civil Drafter or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and drafting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively both independently in a remote capacity and collaboratively on-site in East London .
