Salary: R1.4 million CTC

Location: Midrand

Experience Required: 3+ years in legal practice & legislative drafting

Are you a Legal Advisor with a passion for aviation law and regulatory development?

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to support their legal and compliance team in ensuring the integrity of civil aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop legally sound regulations and technical standards
2. Manage regulatory formulation and approval processes
3. Provide legal advisory services, including vetting contracts, exemptions, and policies
4. Draft and finalize international agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOUs)
5. Oversee litigation processes and represent cases in appeal committees
6. Ensure regulations comply with legal and constitutional standards

Requirements

1. B Proc or LLB degree, with Admission as Attorney or Advocate
2. Certification in Legislative Drafting (preferred)
3. 3+ years of experience in legal practice and regulation development
4. Strong expertise in contract drafting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement
