Job description

Job Summary : My client is looking for an experienced Draughtsperson with a strong background in Civil and Roads engineering to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings, designs, and models for various civil and road projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Prepare and modify drawings, designs, and models for civil and road projects, including but not limited to:
  • Road designs and layouts
  • Storm water drainage systems
  • Sewerage systems
  • Civil structures (e.g., bridges, culverts)
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create and edit drawings and models
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings and designs
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design accuracy
  • Develop and maintain drawing standards, templates, and libraries
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior draughting staff
  • Ensure compliance with company quality management systems and industry standards

    • Requirements :

    1. Diploma or Draughting
    2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil and road draughting
    3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
    4. Strong understanding of civil and road engineering principles and practices
    5. Excellent drawing and design skills
    6. Good communication and teamwork skills
    7. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure

    Desirable :

    1. Experience with other CAD software, including Revit
    2. Knowledge of GIS and spatial analysis
    3. Certification in CAD software or related field
