Job summary

EnableSA is seeking an experienced Demand Planner for the Port Elizabeth area to manage citrus and agricultural demand forecasting and pack planning. You will translate customer demand into production requirements and monitor shifts between forecast and actual output.

You will collaborate with commercial and production teams to prioritise strategic fruit allocations, identify shortages or surplus, and optimise pack plans while maintaining clear communication with packhouses.

Qualifications

• Formal Grade 12 qualification.
• Preferable industrial engineering background.
• Minimum 2 years in a relevant citrus/agriculture planning role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyse production forecasts.
• Identify changes between forecast and actual production.
• Analyse customer demand from commercial team by variety, grade and count.
• Develop and maintain pack plans and translate demand into production requirements.
• Monitor plan adherence and flag deviations early.
• Present pack plans to commercial and production teams weekly.
• Coordinate with packhouses on production dates, quantities, grades and delays.
