Job summary

Curro Heritage House in Durban seeks a full-time Curro Choice Supervisor to commence duties January 2027. You will supervise learners during live and tutorial sessions, manage Curro Choice headsets, and monitor progress via teacher feedback and the Power BI dashboard.

The role requires SACE registration (provisional or conditional) and experience in tutoring or teaching. A BEd degree is advantageous, and you will collaborate with teachers and tutors to support learner performance and assessments.

Qualifications

• BEd degree is advantageous.
• SACE registration (provisional or conditional) is required.
• Experience in tutoring/teaching.
• Skilled motivator who can encourage learners to explore new theories and value new products.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom environment and learners during live and tutorial lessons.
• Ensure learners remain engaged in live lessons or Moodle courses during tutorials.
• Oversee Curro Choice headsets within the classroom.
• Monitor learner progress via tutor/teacher feedback and Power BI dashboard.
• Assist with invigilation during assessments/tests.
• Log service desk tickets for technical or connectivity challenges.
• Enforce discipline and alert learners to assignment/task deadlines and submission dates.
• Maintain attendance registers for all supervised learners.
• Provide feedback to parents and school management regarding learner performance.
• Receive and print assessments/tests/exams according to Curro Choice schedule.
• Scan and email completed assessments/tests/exams to relevant Curro Choice teachers.
• Communicate effectively with Curro Choice teachers and tutors regarding learner performance in the venue.
