Placements24 seeks a dynamic Childcare Coordinator and Educator to oversee operations and provide direct care in their Pretoria facility. This dual role blends leadership, administration, and hands-on education, directing daily activities, ensuring a safe environment, and supporting caregivers.

This role requires relevant childcare/education qualifications, supervisory experience, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Childcare, Education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in a childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the childcare center, including scheduling and staff supervision.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and center activities.
• Directly supervise and educate a group of children, fostering their holistic development.
