Job description

The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) is a senior leadership position responsible for steering the overall technical strategy, overseeing technology operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions and services. This individual will work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to lead architectural planning, implementation, support services, and vendor management across a range of platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic insight.


Key Responsibilities
Solutions Architecture
  • Lead technical architecture design and planning.
  • Conduct technical scope sessions with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage and participate in customer and supplier meetings for requirements gathering and strategy alignment.
  • Design detailed implementation and contingency plans.
  • Oversee testing, deployment, and execution of technical solutions.
Customer Success Consultants
  • Act as a senior advisor on complex client projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver advanced training and mentorship to the Customer Success team.
  • Review and support the development of technical proposals and RFP responses.
Support Oversight
  • Provide senior advisory support on technical escalations.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for support staff.
  • Oversee incident management for both server and supplier issues.
  • Drive development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Handle service reconciliations, escalations, and reporting.
Domains Management
  • Provide leadership in consultation, scoping, implementation, administration, and ongoing management across all domain-related projects.
Vendor and Platform Oversight
Microsoft – Tenant & Supplier
  • Full lifecycle involvement: consultation, scoping, implementation, administration, and management.
  • Manage Microsoft portals, pricing administration, and handle supplier queries and escalations.
Silicon Sky – Tenant & Supplier
  • Oversee product consultation, implementation, tenant administration, and supplier management.
  • Handle pricing and supplier portal operations.
Sophos – Tenant & Supplier
  • End-to-end management from product consultation to supplier engagement.
  • Ensure platform and security implementations meet industry standards.
Nable Cove Data
  • Full responsibility for consultation, implementation, administration, and management.
  • Consultation on products and services.

Administer hosted environments and lead internal project advisory functions. Support PR and marketing with technical content development and strategy.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in a technical leadership or architectural role.
  • Proven experience with multi-vendor environments (Microsoft, Sophos, Silicon Sky, N-able, Cambium, Unifi, Grandstream).
  • Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, security systems, and cloud-based services.
  • Experience managing support teams, professional services, and vendor relationships.
