Job Description
A SAP SAC planning consultant will join a team of finance, data, and SAP specialists in the Finance Regulatory Reporting domain. The project aims to automate the end-to-end process of reporting for a subset of regulatory returns. This includes automation of data intake, transformation through business rules, report generation, and submission, primarily utilizing SAP applications.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- SAP SAC Consultant (SAC Planning & SAC Analytics and Reporting)
- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Analytics modules
- Hands-on experience with SAC data modeling, scripting (Advanced Formula), and planning functions
- Experience connecting SAC with data sources like SAP BW, HANA, and third-party systems
- Knowledge of SAC's predictive features and Smart Predict
- Understanding of SAC security concepts, roles, teams, and data access control
- BW4HANA modeling is an advantage
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP Analytics, including a minimum of 2 years in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience in SAC Planning and Analytics projects across multiple industries
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or other SAP products is desirable
- SAP Analytics Cloud certification is a plus
- Knowledge of R scripting is beneficial
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Analytics, with at least 2 years in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience in SAC Planning and Analytics projects across industries
- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships within client divisions
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and requests
- Interpret development requirements and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions
- Define project scope and functional requirements for stakeholder approval
- Prepare proposals and manage project costs for profitability
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Brief technical teams and third parties on project requirements
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery
- Manage multiple projects using ticketing and project management tools
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree, diploma, or relevant certification in marketing, business, computer science, or related fields
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within the software development industry
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Project management certification is beneficial
- Solid understanding of software design principles
