About the Role

Our client, a prominent industrial conglomerate with significant operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal , is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead their cybersecurity strategy. This executive-level position is responsible for protecting the organization's information assets, developing and implementing a comprehensive security program, and managing all aspects of cybersecurity risk. The CISO will provide strategic direction, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and foster a security-aware culture across the entire enterprise. This is a critical leadership role requiring extensive experience in information security, risk management, and strategic planning, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills. You will report directly to senior executive leadership and play a vital role in safeguarding the company's reputation and business operations against a complex and evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's overall information security strategy and program.
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
