An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take the reins of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy for a well-established, values-driven organisation. This is a leadership role for a forward-thinking professional with deep expertise in information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will guide executive teams on cybersecurity strategy, oversee secure technology adoption, and champion a culture of cyber awareness. With direct influence over high-level decision-making and operational execution, the CISO will safeguard critical systems and data while enabling digital transformation.

Key Skills and Experience :

• Degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years experience in cybersecurity and IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior security role
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, POPIA, and related frameworks
• Strong background in cloud security, data protection, and incident response
• Experience working within financial services or insurance sectors is advantageous
• Strategic leadership with strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
