We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to lead the Information Technology strategy, infrastructure, and team within our client's dynamic and fast-paced organisation. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the CIO will be responsible for guiding the overall provision of IT services, including infrastructure planning, system integration, and technology operations, while managing a large team and significant budget.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of senior-level IT management experience.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
2. Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) is advantageous
3. Minimum of 5 years of senior-level IT management experience
4. Proven technical expertise and experience managing IT infrastructure
5. Demonstrated project management experience
6. Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
7. Strong people management and team leadership capabilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic governance and leadership across all IT functions
2. Plan, implement, and monitor infrastructure changes and upgrades
3. Ensure robust IT security through continuous system monitoring
4. Develop and enforce IT standards, best practices, and documentation
5. Lead the recruitment, development, and performance management of IT staff
6. Collaborate closely with executive management on technology planning
7. Oversee IT project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals
8. Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement
9. Guide the organization in adopting innovative IT solutions
10. Oversee budgeting and financial management of the IT department
11. Ensure compliance with IT regulations, laws, and internal governance
12. Establish and maintain security protocols and risk mitigation strategies
