A client in the FinTech space is looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join their ever growing, fast paced team, reporting directly into the CEO. Your main function will be to ensure the use of modern IT software and technologies in order to streamline business operations. This role will be based in the heart of Johannesburg North

POSITION INFO : Qualifications :

• Matric Essential
• BSc Degree in Computer Science, or related fields

Requirements :

• 4+ years proven experience in a similar role
• Industry experience (, retail, merchant)
• Background in designing / developing IT Systems and planning IT implementation
• Solid background in IT
• Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations

KPA’s :

• Lead a team managing all aspects of IT (Software) with delivery across multiple functions
• Oversee the use of IT within the company
• Devise the company's IT Strategy
• Ensure that all systems necessary to support operations and objectives, are in place
• Comply with Cyber Security best practices
• Identify risks and provide solutions
• Design and customize technology solutions
• Oversee the technological infrastructure
