Job summary

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in golf course management, 3+ in a supervisory role, and a qualification in Horticulture, Agronomy, or Turf Management. A valid driver's license and willingness to work weekends are required.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Horticulture, Agronomy, or Turf Management.
• Minimum 8 years in golf course management; at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven turfgrass physiology, soil science, and pest/disease knowledge.
• Strong irrigation and water-conservation expertise.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; driver’s license; willingness to work variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, pest/disease control, and bunker maintenance.
• Develop and implement an annual agronomic plan with the club committee.
• Lead, train, and supervise groundskeepers; ensure safety and productivity.
• Manage irrigation system and monitor turf health; implement IPM strategies.
• Contribute to course renovation and comply with environmental regulations.
• Budget management for the grounds department.
