An ever expanding and efficient, Manganese Mining Company based in the Northern Cape province, has a challenging opportunity for a Chief Geologist. The ideal candidate will have extensive mine operations management and open cast experience.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

• B.Sc Honours degree in Geology (NQF 8)
• SACNASP AND GSSA registration is essential.
• 10 – 15 year’s relevant geology experience
• 5 years at a Senior Geologist level.
• Minimum of 6 years’ open cast, iron ore mining experience.
• Software modelling experience is essential (Studio RM and 3D as well as SURPAC)
• Exploration experience is essential.
