Job description

Our client, a leading FMCG firm, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will develop and execute financial policies and procedures aligned with the company's strategies. The successful candidate will be a CA(SA) and have working knowledge of full International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role is based on site in Gauteng (Northern Suburbs). Duties & Responsibilities

Min Requirements :

  1. CA (SA)
  2. B Accounting
  3. Minimum 5 years post articles experience (Senior FM CFO or Similar)
  4. Applicable experience in the manufacturing environment

Salary :

RCTC per annum (Slightly Negotiable)

Short Term Incentives

Responsibilities :

  • Provide financial forecasts and budgeting within dates set by the Board for approval.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  • Produce accurate and timely financial and statutory reports in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Oversee pricing strategies and cost structures for product lines.
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Production to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Project CAPEX requirements and include in the annual budget.
  • Evaluate CAPEX investments and the Return on Investment (ROI) for new projects.
  • Identify and mitigate all business and financial risks including market fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure the timeous submission of annual audited year-end packs.
  • Ensure clean audit reports and favourable internal audit reports.
