We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

This is a senior leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction, managing financial operations, and ensuring the financial health of the Cluster.

Duties :

1. Lead and manage the financial team.
2. Oversee all financial activities, ensuring alignment with the Cluster's strategic goals and targets.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders including shareholders, bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
4. Devise and implement strategies for financial performance and operational efficiency.
5. Maintain and improve finance systems, procedures, and processes to support business growth.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and financial obligations, with particular attention to financial aspects.
7. Deliver key financial reports within deadlines, including Group Financial Reports, Year-End Financials, Internal Audit, Tax Submissions, Risk Reports, and Sustainability Reports.
8. Drive tax compliance for the Cluster, including VAT, PAYE, ETI, and Company Tax.
9. Fulfill fiduciary duties with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

Job Experience & Skills Required :

Qualifications :

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom
• CA(SA), CIMA, or MBA

Experience :

• Completed SAICA Articles
• 10-15 years of experience in a senior management role
• Extensive experience across all aspects of financial management, including strategy implementation and financial reporting
• Previous experience as a director of an organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in due diligence and acquisitions (advantageous)
• Strong time management and administrative skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure
• Proven experience in team leadership and meeting deadlines
