• Oversee daily financial operations in close collaboration with the CFO and finance team, ensuring seamless execution and control.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring alignment with local regulations and timely submissions.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Coordinate and prepare for external audits, maintaining accurate and well-organized financial documentation.
• Lead financial system management and handle special projects that support the company's strategic goals.
• Administer cash flow planning to maintain adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
• Develop, monitor, and report on departmental budgets, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in line with accounting regulations and best practices.
• Conduct routine reconciliations of all banking and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through detailed expense analysis and operational review.
• Support risk and compliance initiatives by ensuring full adherence to legal and financial regulations, including those governed by SARS.
• Contribute to capital planning and oversee asset management to safeguard company resources and maximize returns.
• Ensure the company's financial strategy is executed consistently across departments and aligned with broader business objectives.
