PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The CFO role is to strategically position the Company for long-term growth and to deliver value to the shareholder. Responsible for the conceptualization, development and implementation of the financial strategy, governance framework and financial management system. Responsible for the Management of departments with a staff compliment of +- 17 employees. Reporting directly to the CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in manufacturing or construction environment
2. Extensive and detailed knowledge of best practice accounting systems, policies, and procedures
3. Knowledge and extensive experience with IT systems such as MS Excel and ERP systems (Preference to Syspro)
4. Management of procurement and warehousing (stores & inventory)

1. Complies with group requirements in terms of cash flow management and reporting of cash flow position as well as requirements on project and overhead expenses.

1. Oversee month end accounting process
2. Perform more complex Balance sheet reconciliations such as WIP & revenue recognition
3. Ensure full monthly financial compliance (e.g. SARS).

1. Assuming responsibility for the CAPEX processes and procedures.
2. Support the business operationally, by provision of focused reports, providing information driving relevant financial decision making
3. Engaging in costing and price setting of tenders/quotations/new orders or order variations

1. File and maintain records of all source documents according to financial and audit requirements.
2. Accountable for the financial year-end audit. Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are effectively performed.
3. Attend to audit requests, Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance to group, entity and regulatory regulations, processes and policies.
