An established financial solutions company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial strategy and operations. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, risk management, compliance, and systems to support the organization's long-term goals and ensure its continued financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Financial Leadership :
Provide financial direction and accountability for the organization.
Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth plans.
Drive strategic cost management, pricing strategies, and profitability optimization.
Ensure alignment of financial performance with organizational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit and operational risks.
Financial Planning and Operations :
Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning to support ongoing operations.
Lead the development of budgets that align with strategic business goals.
Oversee the preparation and approval of accurate financial statements.
Financial Reporting :
Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Present financial results, forecasts, and key performance metrics to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and deadlines.
Analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights that guide decision-making.
Risk Management and Compliance :
Implement and ensure adherence to robust internal controls and governance standards.
Develop and enforce compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Establish and monitor credit policies to minimize financial risk and protect company assets.
Systems and Processes :
Oversee accounting functions and information systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Monitor capital structures and resource requirements to support business growth.
Introduce technology and automation solutions to enhance financial and operational processes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience :
Education :
Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is essential.
Experience :
Minimum of 3-5 years in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in lending or financial services.
Proven success in managing credit portfolios, compliance, and financial risk.
Skills :
Strong expertise in strategic budgetary planning, financial forecasting, and financial performance alignment with organizational goals.
