Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Engineering Department, guiding Manufacturing Engineers, and driving process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Directly oversee the Manufacturing Engineers to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
  • Compile weekly reports on engineering KPIs to analyze actual versus target performance metrics.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings to provide feedback and implement actions.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Lead to identify equipment and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly departmental KPI report with ICA/PCA actions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for project execution.
  • Manage expenses and budgets to achieve financial goals.
  • Recruit and train new team members following company procedures.
  • Lead key KPIs such as PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Health Sheet updates.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement activities with Manufacturing Engineers to drive cycle time improvements, layouts, flows, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Act as a deputy to the Technical Manager.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly process audits to ensure compliance with IATF16949 standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred.
