Job summary

Neptune Cape Town seeks a Chief Director: Policy and Strategy to strategically support the executive in developing and implementing high-level provincial policies and strategies. Based in Cape Town CBD, the role drives governance and strategic outcomes for the Western Cape Government.

The position requires a Built Environment degree or BTech and registration with a Built Environment Council, guiding policy direction and leading teams across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or BTech) in the Built Environment (Civil / Structural Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying).
• Registration with a Built Environment Council.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-level provincial policies and strategies in support of the executive.
• Lead policy development initiatives and ensure alignment with Western Cape Government objectives.
