- Package: R 1 436 022.00 - R 1 787 328.00 per annum (All-inclusive Package). The package includes a basic salary (70% of package), and a flexible portion of 30% that may be structured in terms of applicable rules. This includes the state’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund (13% of basic salary). The successful candidate will be required to enter into a performance agreement within three months after assumption of duty.

Requirements:
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 7 in Economic and Management Sciences (informatics) and/or Built Environment as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at senior managerial level.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A Pre-Entry SMS Certificate.
- Competencies: Knowledge of PFMA/DORA/Treasury Regulations, Contract options for infrastructure projects, Provincial/Departmental Supply Chain Management Policies, Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000, Promotion of Administrative Justice Act of 2000, Broad Based Black Empowerment Act of 2003, Project Management, People Management, Financial Management, Conflict Management.
- Skills: Financial management, Presentation, Communication (verbal and written), Computer literacy, Project management.
- Attributes: Responsive, Credible, Flexible, Quality-oriented, Creative.
Duties:
- Manage and direct research projects, policies, legislation, compliance, and knowledge sharing within GDID.
- Oversee property management, occupational health and safety, green technology projects, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for infrastructure planning and develop strategic inputs.
- Develop and manage staff performance agreements, work plans, and budgets.
