The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Pretoria is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to process screening X-rays for refugees and immigrants under supervision. The role ensures high-quality diagnostic imaging in alignment with IOM standards and country-specific requirements.

Formación

• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid license to practice Radiography in South Africa.
• Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Responsabilidades

• Capture high-quality chest X-ray images of migrants according to IOM standards and country requirements.
• Explain procedures, prepare equipment, ensure correct patient identification and data entry, apply radiographic techniques and radiation protection measures.
• Process digital images, review quality, and report urgent findings; coordinate with radiologists and teleradiology centers.
