Placements24 in Randburg, Gauteng, is seeking a proactive Chemical Engineer to oversee capital projects and process upgrades from concept through commissioning, with strong project management skills.

You will define scope, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with contractors and equipment suppliers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and report progress to management. PE certification is a plus, as is experience with P&IDs and HAZOP studies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years in chemical process engineering, with 3+ years in project management or project engineering roles.
• PE certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience with capital projects, budgeting and scheduling.

Mansioni

• Manage full lifecycle of capital projects and process improvements from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop project scope, objectives, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
