Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Chemical Production Supervisor to lead shifts and manage production teams at their Soweto facility. The role focuses on meeting production targets safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.

You will supervise operators, coordinate daily activities, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in chemical production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and a strong understanding of chemical manufacturing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical production with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and safety procedures.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with quality control systems and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of production operators to meet production schedules.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
