Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plant Operator in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with chemical processes and plant operations.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment and control systems to ensure optimal production output.
• Perform regular checks on process parameters, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and operating protocols, including handling of chemicals.
• Conduct routine inspections of plant machinery and equipment, identifying any potential issues.
• Respond to alarms and process deviations, taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production logs and operational records.
• Participate in the shutdown and startup of plant units for maintenance or cleaning.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve operational problems.
• Ensure the plant environment is kept clean and orderly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
