Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer in Bloemfontein to manage and optimize industrial waste treatment processes, ensuring environmental compliance and cost-effective waste management solutions.

You will design, operate, and maintain treatment systems, monitor processes, and prepare regulatory reports to support sustainable practices at our facility in the Free State region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, or environmental engineering.
• Solid understanding of chemical and physical treatment processes for industrial waste.
• Knowledge of South African environmental legislation and permitting requirements.
• Experience with process monitoring and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to environmental stewardship and safety.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is an advantage.
