Are you a passionate and skilled chef ready to take your culinary career to the next level? RealNZ is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team at Walter Peak, where every guest leaves with a great story to tell.

As Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service as part of our renowned catering team. From preparing and presenting beautiful dishes to maintaining top-tier food safety standards, you'll help ensure every meal is a memorable one.

In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality food, including cabinet items and high teas, while assisting in the planning and execution of seasonal menus. You'll be responsible for maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, supporting stock control and ordering processes, and working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless service. You'll also help train and support junior staff and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of Food Control Plans (FCP)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in menu development, understanding of food and labour cost management, and leadership potential and training skills would be preferred.
