Job summary

picknpay is seeking a dedicated cashier to provide excellent customer service at the till, accurately processing purchases and handling payments. The role includes maintaining a clean till area and adhering to company policies and cash-handling procedures.

The incumbent may transfer between stores as needed and must be prepared to work flexible shifts. The position emphasizes customer-centric service, accuracy, and teamwork, with expectations to uphold high service standards across store

Qualifications

Grade 12 is required.
Must successfully complete numeracy screening assessments.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Willing and able to work shifts to meet operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Physically demanding.
Pack purchased goods into checkout bags and trolleys according to the required standard.
Use of detergents and cleaning materials/chemicals.
Be customer minded by seeing situations through the eyes of the customer and responding positively.
Exhibit excellent communication skills by listening attentively, responding appropriately and speaking clearly.
Show a sense of urgency to complete tasks quickly.
Perform routine tasks at a consistently high standard.
