Malander is seeking qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) professionals for various contractual roles across a range of dynamic clients and industries. These opportunities are ideal for individuals with strong financial acumen and solid post-articles experience who are available immediately to take on short- to medium-term assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Track financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Manage internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit files and resolution of queries.
• Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow; manage working capital and banking relationships.
• Assist with tax compliance, including VAT, income tax, and corporate tax matters.
• Review and strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process optimisation.
• Lead or support finance-related projects such as ERP implementations or business restructuring.
• Collaborate with leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Education and Experience:

• Immediate availability (non-negotiable).
• 3–5 years post-articles experience in corporate, commercial, or audit environments.
