Rectitude Recruit is seeking an experienced accountant to coordinate daily accounting activities under the Head Accountant. You will record revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

Responsibilities include trial balance analysis, journal posting, reconciliations, payroll review, SARS returns, VAT, tax computations and management reporting. Supervisory duties and monthly closes are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing ledgers and preparing financial statements.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and auditing files.
• Ability to supervise accounting staff and coordinate monthly closes.

Responsabilités

• Analyse trial balance accounts and identify errors; prepare journals.
• Reconcile balance sheet and nominal accounts.
• Maintain organized financial records and files.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and prepare management reports.
• Supervise staff and review payroll, VAT, and SARS submissions.
• Prepare annual financial statements and audit files.
• Compile budgets, forecasts, and cash flow monitoring.
