SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :

A leading global organisation in the industrial automation and energy sector is seeking a strategic and driven Channel Manager to spearhead its partner and distribution network in West Sub-Saharan Africa. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in control systems and digital software, and a strong understanding of the channel partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a channel sales strategy aligned with business growth and market penetration goals.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified channel partners.
  3. Establish clear business plans and KPIs with each partner and ensure accountability.
  4. Monitor channel performance to meet revenue, margin, and market share targets.
  5. Participate in strategic sales engagements, including high-level negotiations and deal structuring.
  6. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on go-to-market activities.
  7. Facilitate product training, promotional campaigns, and partner enablement initiatives.
  8. Drive partner engagement in digital software and automation solutions.
  9. Provide regular reporting, insights, and performance analytics to senior management.
  10. Build and sustain long-term partner and customer relationships across the region.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in channel management within process automation, control systems, or industrial software.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex partner networks.
  4. Solid understanding of digital transformation trends in industrial sectors.
  5. Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM platforms.
  7. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
