Job Description
Position Overview: The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and closing deals based on the company's agreed MRR targets. The position is remunerated on a Fixed salary plus commission. The Channel Manager reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively identify and pursue potential business/customers.
- Prospect for new channel partners.
- MSA Negotiation and signing.
- Presentation of channel Program.
- Presentation of iConnect Solutions and Products as well as pricing structures.
- Train all Channel Partner's sales teams on the full iConnect solution & product portfolio.
- Ensure that the Channel Partner fully understands the iConnect channel Program.
- Manage all Quote and Feasibility processes.
- Manage all Order processes.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet customer performance objectives and expectations.
- Adopt Account Plans for strategic partners.
- Present and train customers/partners on iConnect services and offerings.
- Participate in partner strategies and business initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to improve partner account penetration.
- Work closely with Projects and Technical department to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Accountability and Performance Measures:
- Generate and maintain an opportunity pipeline and credible business forecast to meet sales targets.
- Meet assigned expectations for profitability and required training and development objectives.
- Respond to all customer and partner requests promptly.
- Ensure that all new and existing channel partners are aligned with the rules of the Channel Partner Program.
- Submit weekly reports to each channel partner showing growth and areas of concern, if any.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Channel Management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications and connectivity services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Hands-on experience using CRM platforms to manage partner and customer interactions, track sales performance, and generate analytical reports for strategic decision-making.
- Own a reliable vehicle and driver's license.
