Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer relationship scouting and management with broad focus across the entire value chain such as distributors, OEM's, Consultants and End-Users.
  2. Maximise revenues from sales of the organisation's products and/or services either through direct sales or through a base of reseller partners such as dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, or retailers.
  3. Administer sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals.
  4. Identify and establish relationships with new customers and locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners.
  5. Support partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training, to achieve revenue targets.
  6. Ability to create value by offering performance based multi-tech solutions to clients across a broad spectrum of applications.
  7. Design work using WAVE design software for all value centres (UF, RO, IER, EDI etc.).
  8. Onsite and remote troubleshooting and optimisation.
  9. Integration into certain aspects of the project phases.
  10. Large project & tender engagement.
  11. Distribution management and business & project development.

Qualifications:

  1. This role requires a motivated self-starter with a strong will to learn and solve problems independently and via collaboration.
  2. The preferred candidate would ideally be fluent in water treatment technologies (RO / UF, IER, MBR, MABR, CCRO) with first-hand experience in that field (either in sales or marketing, project management, manufacturing area).
  3. Undergraduate or Post Graduate qualification in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is preferred.
  4. Open to travel within South Africa and other Sub-Saharan Africa countries up to 50% of the time.
  5. Works independently with minimal guidance, providing guidance to less senior team members.
  6. Assignments often require independent judgment and evaluation.
  7. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  8. Creativity with innovative approaches to maximise business value for DuPont and its customers.
