Job description

Recruiting for a CFO on a 6-month contract to perform all financial and payroll related functions as per the attached.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CIMA
  • Postgraduate Degree in Finance
  • Evidence of relevant CFO or related assignments / projects completed
Duties
  • Governance reporting
  • Responding to changing needs for financial information and advice
  • Ensuring that internal financial targets and budgets are fully consistent with the strategic plan and relevant agreements with the Accounting Authority and other regulatory bodies
  • Managing the accounting and finance staff including recruitment, managing revenue and expenditure
  • Meeting reporting requirements as required in terms of financial management legislation such as Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations and Delegation of Authority (DoA)
  • Maintaining systems of internal control, which comply with internal and external audit
  • Providing strategic oversight and guidance regarding the development and implementation of processes, systems and controls in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, supply chain practices and standards, and internal policies and procedures
