Placements24 in Rustenburg, North West, South Africa, seeks a dynamic Certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer to guide members toward fitness goals within a state-of-the-art facility. You will develop personalized plans, lead group classes, and offer nutrition guidance to support wellness.

The ideal candidate has NASM/ACE/ISCA certification, CPR/First Aid, and proven PT experience, with a passion for safe, effective training and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISCA).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor and/or Personal Trainer.
• In-depth knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology, and anatomy.
• Ability to create effective and engaging workout routines.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Previous experience in Rustenburg leisure facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conducting fitness assessments and evaluating client needs.
• Designing and implementing tailored exercise programs for individuals and groups.
• Leading engaging and effective group fitness classes (e.g., strength training, cardio, flexibility).
• Providing one-on-one personal training sessions, ensuring proper form and technique.
• Educating clients on safe and effective exercise practices.
• Offering nutritional guidance and lifestyle advice to support client goals.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting programs as necessary.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment.
• Promoting club services and programs to members.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and certifications.
