Introduction

Bureau Veritas Testing and Inspections South Africa is recruiting a Certification Business Developer. The position is based in Cape Town reporting to the Head of Certification

The Business Developer will be responsible for contacting clients to promote our certification and training services and enhance our sales targets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience required
  • Experience in Business Development essential
  • Preference will be given to candidates with ISO certification/auditing sales experience
  • Cold calling experience is a must
  • Must have working experience in a target driven environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Background in selling training products would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of ISO standards would be an advantage
  • Willing and able to travel

Job Specification

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the Certification departments’ sales activities specific for training courses and certification contracts;
  • Contact clients in order to introduce Training and Certification services;
  • Generate certification quotations;
  • Set up meetings to present certification proposals;
  • Submitting of tenders for certification.
  • Meet with clients to present the quotations
  • Minimum R480 000 new sales monthly
  • Respond to clients timeously (same day)
  • Submit a minimum of 15 proposals per month
  • Meet with a minimum of 20 clients per month
  • Focus on developing new schemes to boost sales/revenue
