Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante in Centurion is seeking a junior graphic designer to join the head office marketing and creative team. You will help create brand-aligned print and digital assets and support campaign work on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Proven completion of Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communication/Multimedia Design.
• Strong typography, layout, colour theory and pre-press knowledge.
• Portfolio evidencing print and digital work is required.
• Proficiency with Adobe CC apps (PS/AI/ID) and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain brand integrity across channels by adhering to guidelines.
• Design and prepare print-ready materials (DTP) including brochures and packaging.
• Develop digital content: website banners, UI elements, emails, social assets.
• Photograph and retouch product imagery for online and print catalogs.
• Organize and manage central digital asset library and logos.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to meet campaign briefs.

• Salary: R22,000.00 – R29,000.00 CTC PM (negotiable depending on experience and proven capabilities)

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Integrity: Create high-quality designs that align strictly with corporate brand guidelines and visual standards across all channels.

• Print Production: Design and prepare print-ready materials (DTP), including trade brochures, promotional flyers, event posters, point-of-sale displays, and product packaging.

• Digital & Web Assets: Develop and produce engaging digital content, including website banners, UI elements, e-commerce promotional graphics, email newsletters, and social media assets.

• Product Photography & Retouching: Create, deep-etch, colour-correct, and edit product imagery for both online catalogues and offline print materials.

• Asset Management: Systematically organize and maintain the central digital asset library, brand logos, templates, and raw project files.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to ensure campaign briefs are completed on time and aligned with sales objectives.

• Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with contemporary design trends, digital tools, and production techniques to continuously elevate the brand’s creative output.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric PLUS a completed Degree or National Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Multimedia Design.

• Software Proficiency: Practical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office.

• Design Fundamentals: Strong technical foundation in typography, visual composition, colour theory, layout design, and pre-press production processes.

• Experience & Portfolio: Proven commercial or junior design experience backed by an active portfolio of evidence (PDF or web link) showcasing print and digital execution.

• Core Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work well under deadline pressure, strong teamwork and communication skills, and an eager desire to learn and grow.

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

• Prior design experience within the automotive, wholesale, retail, or e-commerce sectors.

• Familiarity with motion graphics, basic video editing (Premiere Pro / After Effects), or web CMS platforms.
