Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante in Centurion is seeking a seasoned Frontend Developer specialized in .NET and Blazor to design and maintain responsive UI for ERP, WMS, and POS systems from analysis to release.

You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborate with backend teams, mentor juniors, and ensure code quality. This is a strictly office-based role with standard hours and a Provident Fund and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years' professional experience in .NET / C# frontend development.
• Strong frontend experience using Blazor (WebAssembly preferred).
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Experience with DevExpress and MudBlazor components.
• Proficient with Git and Bitbucket.
• Must provide contactable references.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable component-based frontend structures using Blazor.
• Develop new UI features and integrate with backend REST APIs.
• Perform client-side testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Support frontend build, release, and deployment in on-premises IIS environments.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while mentoring junior team members.

Centurion Frontend Developer (.NET / Blazor)

Are you a highly skilled and detail-oriented technical specialist who takes ownership of frontend development from analysis through to release? A premier automotive parts distributor is seeking a dynamic Frontend Developer (.NET / Blazor) to join their development team at their Head Office in Centurion.

Reporting directly to the CIO, you will work within an Agile/Scrum environment to design, develop, and maintain responsive frontend interfaces for core business applications like ERP, WMS, and POS systems.

• Salary: Market-related and negotiable based on your current income

• Status: Full-Time, Permanent position (Skilled grade)

• Benefits: Compulsory Provident Fund (7.5% employee / 8% company contribution) + December Annual Bonus

• Leave: 18 days leave per annum

• Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 (60-minute daily lunch break; overtime may be requested if required)

• Location: Strictly office-based in Centurion (No hybrid or work-from-home options available)

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Architecture: Design reusable, consistent component-based frontend structures using Blazor and drive UI consistency across applications.

• Frontend Development: Implement new UI features and enhancements using clean, maintainable C# code, seamlessly integrating with backend REST APIs.

• Testing & Quality: Perform thorough client-side testing, debugging, and defect resolution while participating in peer code reviews.

• DevOps & Deployment: Support frontend build, release, and deployment activities within on-premises web application environments (IIS).

• Collaboration & Mentorship: Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while mentoring junior team members.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years' professional experience in .NET / C# development, with a strong focus on frontend development.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Extensive experience with Blazor (WebAssembly preferred, Server exposure advantageous).

  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework (4.x and above).

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and JSON.

  • Experience with component-based UI frameworks such as DevExpress and/or MudBlazor.

• Tools & Environment: Proficient with Git and Bitbucket.

• Track Record: Must provide contactable references from previous employers.

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience working on enterprise-scale internal systems (ERP, WMS, POS).

• UI/UX awareness and responsive web design.

• Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines and deployment troubleshooting within IIS environments.
