Qualifications

  • 1 year Administration experience required.
  • 1 year within a distribution/logistics environment required.
  • Experience in customer relations/suppliers is a plus.
  • Experience on a warehouse management system is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure suppliers are booked according to allocated NDD’s.
  • Assist in planning staff requirements based on volume.
  • Report on supplier activity and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Complete and monitor the KPI board.
  • Inform relevant parties of supplier delivery schedules.
  • Allocate and manage purchase orders.

Purpose

Job description

To ensure that all suppliers are booked and managed according to allocated NDD’s and time slots to ensure smooth operations.

Job Objectives
  • To ensure all suppliers are booked timeously by taking into account floor capacity, volume and late deliveries
  • To assist in the planning of staff requirements based on volume and ensure that it is aligned to the planned budget
  • To report on supplier activity and inform stakeholders of any out of cycle deliveries
  • To ensure that the KPI board is completed correctly and monitor the receiving schedule board
  • To ensure that relevant parties are informed of the supplier delivery schedule
  • To ensure all PO’s are allocated, printed, closed and sent to the relevant departments
  • To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance
