Job description

Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a Contact Centre Consultant to handle all inbound and outbound calls for the Western Cape Central Distribution Unit (WC CDU) customers.

Primary purpose of the job
  • Administration tasks completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Inbound and outbound calls handled professionally and with very strict confidentiality within SOP’s and SLA.
  • Resolve calls logged by Facilities and patients within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • Record calls logged by Facilities and patients onto the Query Log as per SLA.
  • Investigate email queries, log and respond in a professional manner.
  • Assist with any ad hoc task as required by Management or CDU operations.
Specific Requirements/Other important information
  • Ability to prioritise large work load
  • Ability to maintain policy guideline with in pressured situations
  • Ability to act independently
  • Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice
  • Willingness to work overtime during high pressure periods
  • Compulsory training or other ad-hoc operational requirements
Qualifications
Experience
  • Knowledge of Western Cape Chronic Unit (WC CDU) and or Medipost Operations and processes 1-2 Years.
  • Knowledge of Medipost CDU application system in order to investigate queries.
  • Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.
  • Basic capturing experience.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Previous HCP interaction.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel – Basic to Intermediate)
