Cattle Farm Manager - White River

R15 000ctc - R25 000ctc (depending on experience)

Our client in the Agricultural sector is looking for a Cattle Farm Manager to join their team in White River.

POSITION INFO :

Minimum requirements :

• Grade 12 and any additional agricultural qualification will be an advantage
• Monitor the health of the herd and promptly address any signs of illness or injury
• Maintain and repair fencing to secure cattle in designated areas
• Assist in developing and implementing feeding programs, including providing supplemental feed and managing feed storage
• Maintain accurate records of herd information, including births, deaths, vaccinations, and health treatments
• Administer vaccinations and medication as prescribed by a veterinarian
• Coordinate with veterinarians for regular health checks and services
• Maintain and repair farm equipment, such as tractors, feeding systems, and cattle handling facilities
• Safely handle cattle during activities such as weighing, branding, and transportation
• Implement low-stress cattle handling techniques
