Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to support on-site operations in Richards Bay. You will assist with food preparation, serve guests at events, and help keep kitchen and service areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience valued.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation as directed.
• Serve food and beverages to guests at events with presentation in mind.
• Set up and break down catering areas, tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas including wash stations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guests' needs.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
