Job Responsibilities
- Support the Category Manager in developing fact-based category strategies through analysis, research, and data collection.
- Run market enquiries (Tenders, RFPs, RFQs) and analyze responses.
- Ensure tracking and reporting of negotiated savings, obtaining sign-offs from relevant stakeholders.
- Administer and manage supply contracts, including service level management, price negotiations/verification, supplier risk management, and communicating changes to stakeholders.
Required Outputs
- Collect data, identify, and analyze trends using an understanding of sourcing processes.
- Conduct market analysis and contribute to sourcing strategy development.
- Analyze spend data (e.g., TCO analysis, regression analysis) to identify improvement and saving opportunities.
- Prepare RFI/RFP documents.
- Run tender processes and analyze the returned data.
- Support data collection on supplier performance (supplier scorecard) across the organization.
- Assist in preparing supplier feedback presentations as part of the SRM process.
- Support creation, cleansing, and updating of category trees regularly.
- Calculate, track, and report achieved savings, ensuring benefits sign-off by business units.
- Manage and verify price escalations and contract variations.
- Apply relevant procurement processes and manage contractors/suppliers within the designated portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with AECI Group Procurement Policy, Directives, and Centre Instructions, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
