RCL FOODS is looking for a Category and Marketing Executive - Exports to lead the development and execution of channel strategies across key categories—driving innovation, profitability, and relevance beyond South African borders.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, influence cross-functional teams, and shape the future of food in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead category and channel strategy development using market insights and data.
  • Develop and execute brand building initiatives across country and category.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer, and operations teams to execute growth plans.
  • Develop shopper and consumer marketing programs tailored to priority channels.
  • Build pack-price architecture and promotional strategies by brand and channel.
  • Partner with route-to-market teams to implement and track channel initiatives.
  • Lead category reviews and support new product launches in focus channels.
  • Manage team development, succession planning, and performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years in category & customer marketing.
  • 3+ years in B2B market development and team leadership.
  • Regular international travel required for position.
