Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Carnival Mall is seeking a Gift Wrapper to wrap and decorate customer purchases with gift wrap materials, ribbons, bows, and tape after purchase.

You will assist customers in selecting appropriate wrapping materials, wrap items to standard, remove price tags, and ensure gifts are presented neatly. Attention to detail and friendly service are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate wrapping materials.
• Wrap each package professionally with specified materials.
• Remove price tags and include gift receipts in wrapping.
• Organize and store wrapped packages in the wrap area.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous customer service.
• Greet customers and determine their needs.
• Resolve customer queries within a reasonable time.
• Wear the correct uniform and name badge.
• Report suspicious behavior to management.

Job Description:

Gift Wrapping:

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate wrapping materials.
• Wrap each package in a professional manner and in accordance with specified guidelines.
• Remove price tag from packaged products and include gift receipts in wrapping.
• Clearly organize and store wrapped packages in gift wrap holding area, as assigned.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Customer Service:

• Provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance to all customers.
• Greet customers and determine their needs and wants.
• All customer queries must be dealt with and resolved within a reasonable time.
• The correct uniform and name badge must be worn at all times.
• Report bad and suspicious behaviour – staff and customers – to management.
