Venture Resources a leading retail company in Durban South Africa is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Scan items and ensure pricing is accurate
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Upsell and promote products and services to customers
• Handle returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
